![]() ![]() If they really start to become a problem, you can report them to the admins using F1 in game, (1942RP). Overall, these players are the worst of the worst on all RP servers. Once in a while they might bring a group of friends and piss people off together, but most of the time it is one person on their own.Ībility to annoy: Annoying others is what fuels themĬhances of becoming a decent roleplayer: None Whether these people are breaking the rules or not, they are not wanted on the server by most people, if anyone. Another would be if you were a Reich official and take EVERY single little insult seriously and arrest someone for saying "Get the hell out of my way", even though they you were blocking their path. An example would be (Keep in mind this is 1942 rules that I'm going off of) constantly raiding someone for the soul purpose of ruining their fun. Some of them manage to piss people off, while still abiding by the servers rules. Most of them already know they'll be banned, so they don't come on with any regard for the rules, or other players enjoyment. These few people view the rules as goals that need to be broken. Many times these players will be kicked/banned, but a small amount of these people will manage to hide from the admins. I have never found a single RP server in my entire time of owning Garry's Mod that doesn't consist of at least 1 of these types of players. These are the worst of all roleplay servers. This person has no good intents, and will ruin anyones enjoyment the first chance he gets. If he's not doing that he's probably off RDMing someone, most of which are people actually trying to enjoy the game. This is a very, very, VERY, common player found on the sever, and is most likely going to be found in front of the Reichstag spamming his mic/chat, or trying to crash the server by spamming the biggest props he can find. There are the players that can piss you off, or just be doucebags at times, but when I name off this type of person, I mean a whole new level of doucebaggery. I use the word "Troll" in a very specific way. They can end up as one of the most liked players on the server, or just another doucebag that annoys others without any care. Overall, the Clueless Player is unpredictable. However, if they have chosen the second example given, then there is little hope for them.Ībility to annoy: Depends, but often highĬhances of becoming a decent roleplayer: Can vary, I'd say its about 50/50 Their names can vary, from something like "Dan Welsh" to "you r a ♥♥♥." If the player has chosen something similar to the first name, (Using capitals and a realistic RP name) then he shows potential to becoming a decent roleplayer. They are often the default Civilian job that you get when spawned into the server. It is quite easy to spot a Clueless Player. ![]() They will either become so bored as a result of not knowing what to do that they leave the server, or they will leave because they are sick of getting RDM'ed every 5 minutes. Rarely will this player stay on the server for long. If done correctly, they will catch on and start to understand how to experience the game without pissing off everyone else around them. However, if you are really nice enough, you can try to take the person under your wing and teach them the basics of proper roleplay. ![]() These players will frequently ask questions such as "What key do I press to become a job", or "Where can I get a gun." After a while, they will really start to annoy you, and you'll wish that you had just shot them dead the second you first encountered them (Which you could do if you really want to).īut more often than not, it's easier to just sprint for as long as you can around the map and try to lose them. Often, the player has just purchased Garrys Mod, or doesn't play it very often. These types of players have absolutely no idea what RP is about. When I say "Clueless", I REALLY mean clueless. This is a common type of player that is often found near the Reichstag, or outside one of the two spawns in the map. ![]()
